Ingredients:
- 1 package Camellia Brand Red Bean Flavor Infusion
- 1 (1-pound) package Camellia Brand Red Kidney Beans, rinsed and sorted
- 3-5 cups water
- Cooked rice
Directions:
- Add 1 pound Camellia Brand Red Kidney Beans, rinsed and sorted, to the Instant Pot.
- Stir in Red Bean Flavor Infusion and enough water to cover beans (about 3-5 cups).
- Set to 40 minutes at high pressure.
- Allow the pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes.
Optional:
- Make it meaty. Add 1 lb. of pre-cooked sliced smoked sausage or chopped ham when adding the Red Bean Flavor Infusion.
- Keep it veggie (or vegan). Add your favorite plant-based protein.
- Go classic. Serve over cooked rice with cornbread or French bread.
