Ingredients:
- ½ pound of Camellia Brand Red Kidney Beans
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
- 1 (29-ounce) can or 2 (14.5-ounce) cans no-sodium diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3 teaspoons chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Rinse and sort beans. (Optional: Soak beans using your preferred method.)
- Cook and drain beef.
- Add all ingredients except cheese to slow cooker. Mix ingredients well.
- Cook on low heat for 8 hours.
- Add salt to taste. Top each bowl with shredded cheese.
