Ingredients:
- 4 cups Camellia Brand Pinto Beans
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
- 1 sliced fresh jalapeño, or 5-8 slices of jarred jalapeños, or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Water or stock
Directions:
- Rinse and sort beans. (Optional: Soak beans using your preferred method.)
- Put beans in a slow cooker.
- Add all other ingredients and cover with enough water or stock to cover.
- Cook on high 6-8 hours, until beans are tender and liquid has thickened to desired consistency.

Why do you need so many beans?
