Ingredients:
- 1 package of Camellia Brand Cajun Style White Beans for 2
- 5 cups water
- Cooked rice
Directions:

Open contents of bean package. Rinse and sort beans.

Add beans and 5 cups water to a medium-sized pot over high heat.

Bring beans to a boil for 10 minutes, and stir in contents of seasoning packet.

Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 1 to 1 ½ hours or until beans are tender. Add water, if needed, in 1 cup
increments.
Optional:
- Make it meaty. Add pre-cooked sliced smoked sausage or chopped ham when adding the seasoning packet.
- Make it creamy. For a creamier texture, mash a portion of the beans when tender.
- Keep it veggie (or vegan). Add your favorite plant-based protein.
- Go classic. Serve over cooked rice with cornbread or French bread.
